ZEUS Giveback have donated 500 EUR to HOI! Psychosoziale Gemeinschaft e.V. as part of their e-moped city entry. The electric mopeds launched on Wednesday 15th September 2022 and are the first fleet of e-mopeds for ZEUS Scooters.
“It was a great meeting and great exchange of theirs and our services. We spoke of general benefits and solutions for the local community.” says Jens Altmann from Zeus Scooters.
HOI summary:
The main concern of HOI is not to segregate and stigmatise mentally ill people, but to treat, help and support them where they live and work, in their community and in their neighbourhood. From the point of view of community psychiatry, inclusion, i.e. equal belonging, is only possible in cooperation between professionals and committed citizens and neighbours, in a “citizen-professional mix”.

“Our focus is clearly on the smaller towns and on the customers themselves. We are aiming for a thoughtful expansion and want to give something back to our customers and the cooperative city,” explains Damian Young. That’s why ZEUS Scooters donates a portion of the proceeds for every minute ridden to charitable projects in the city. Users are allowed to co-decide online or via app what the money should be donated to. This is intended to give locals an additional incentive to use the electric scooters on offer. More travel time therefore also means more benefits for the city and its citizens. The e-mopeds are now distributed throughout the city.
