The company recently launched its CSR initiative called the Give Back Programme where they aim to give back to the communities and cities they operate. The first Give Back was launched in Ulm for the Ulm Hospiz.

We want to get involved in social life and contribute to a better life,” promised Damian Young, founder and CEO of ZEUS Scooter at the launch in July 2020. By renting out e-scooters, ZEUS is making an active contribution to a sustainable change in traffic and ideally complements the existing range of micro-mobility services in the region. We are very pleased to select the beautiful cities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm for the launch of our ‘Give Back’ program,” explains Damian Young. “We believe it is our responsibility as a company to give back to the local community, which plays a key role in our growth.”

Damian Young iterates that the hospice does brilliant work in helping people who really need support. The CEO visited Hospiz Ulm in person along with their local operator in Ulm to present the EUR 500 donation to Managing Director Claudia Schumann. The two then spoke in detail about the work of the outpatient and inpatient hospice.

Claudia Schumann: “We are very happy about this financial donation. Every euro contributes to the fact that the people who are with us or to whom we come can be accompanied, advised and cared for in their last time of life according to their wishes and needs.”

“We know that we are only making a very small contribution to the great efforts of Hospiz Ulm,” says Damian Young. “But it is a sign of thanks and recognition for the exemplary task, which is more important than ever, especially in the current Corona times.”
