ZEUS Scooters is now offering its e-scooter rental service south of Heidelberg. The area now includes Leimen, Sandhausen, Nussloch, Walldorf and Wiesloch. The Irish start-up is testing a fleet of up to 100 e-scooters over the winter. It is safe for both young and older people to ride the scooters due to its 3-wheel mechanism.

“Our scooters provide a safe and stable ride. At the same time, we promote sustainable transportation,” said Damian Young, founder and CEO of ZEUS Scooters. “From now on, we are looking forward to complementing the traffic in Leimen, Sandhausen, Nussloch, Walldorf and Wiesloch.” The electric scooters are an ideal option for covering the last mile, he said. They allow riders to reach their destination quickly and in a climate-friendly manner.

ZEUS Scooters wants to appeal not only to citizens but also to commuters as customers in the south of Heidelberg. Along the B3 federal highway, customers can now use the service from Heidelberg to Walldorf/Wiesloch. The provider will begin offering up to 100 electric scooters today. The e-scooters are intended as a sensible addition to the transport offer. However, public space is to be used respectfully.
